There is an eminent wave of glory that will hit the body of Christ the world over, as one of the greatest manifestations of God’s presence in recent times. The level of glory that we began to experience in 2007 was ground level, and we should prepare ourselves for this next wave of glory in 2008. It is the Senior Pastor’s firm conviction therefore, that those in the active membership must prepare themselves to become world-wide carriers of God’s glory.

We are in the eighth decade of ministry here at Friendship, we must in this season, intensify the process of becoming a people who operate in both a priestly and kingly anointing. In 2008 therefore, the Senior Pastor sees a praying, praising and worshipping people moving on progressively in their walk with God, faithfully in their assignment as “glory carriers” and productively in the personal pursuit of their dreams and aspirations.

It is the firm conviction of the Senior Pastor that in an environment and atmosphere of God’s glory – blessings and breakthrough are common-place. Therefore, the Senior Pastor sees 2008 as a year for new beginnings, breakthrough, and superabundant supply.  In 2008, the active membership will continue to align themselves with people who can bring positive energy, ideas, encouragement and integrity into their lives; all as we continue to build a family-oriented, "dream team", equipped for the personal fulfillment of 1 Corinthians 2:9, “No eye has seen, no ear has heard, and no mind has imagined what God has prepared for those who love him”

In 2008, the Senior Pastor sees a people forcefully resisting the wiles of the devil and prohibiting the hijacking of divine thoughts, inspiration, revelation, insight, wisdom, knowledge and understanding released to them from the throne room of God; a people empowered to dismantle and cancel all satanic operations, strategies, tactics and plots designed to hinder, frustrate, and destroy God’s original plans for their lives. This year we are a people Pursuing The Glory, Taking Authority, and Walking In Violent Faith!!!
